About Queens Community House

Queens Community House (QCH) is a multi-service settlement house whose mission is to provide individuals and families with the tools to enrich their lives and build healthy, inclusive communities. Over the course of our 50-year history, QCH has become known for innovative programming that enriches the lives of 25,000 children, young adults, families, and older adults in Queens each year. QCH's approach, combining community building and direct service, is grounded in the settlement house model and seeks to address immediate needs as well as root causes. We recognize the interconnected relationship between housing, employment, education, citizenship, self-esteem, financial well-being, and safety and strive to provide participants in every program with access to a full range of resources to help them achieve health, wellness, security, and stability. We currently offer 55 distinct programs operated through a network of 41 sites across Queens.
